EL3D® Nylon filament is a tough and semi-flexible material that offers high impact and abrasion resistance. It is an ideal choice for printing durable parts. Nylon is very resilient and durable. It has excellent strength to flexibility ratio. Easily colored or dyed. Nylon is UV resistant with greater chemical resistance than PLA or ABS.

Nylon is incredibly hygroscopic so don’t leave it out when not in use. Nylon can absorb 10% of its weight in water quickly. When using Nylon on a glass or Garolite heated bed a PVA based glue should be used (Elmer’s purple or Scotch permanent glue sticks).

EL3D PC (Polycarbonate) filament is renowned for its impact resistance and transparency. It is a lightweight yet strong thermoplastic, ideal for a range of professional applications. Parts printed with PC filament will come out fabulously strong, but printing PC can be quite a challenge. 

Polyoxymethylene (POM) filament is also known as Acetal or Polyacetal.  It is a commonly used thermoplastic to engineer specific parts. Acetal filament has high stiffness, low friction, and excellent wear resistance.

EL3D conductive filament is a PLA based material that contains contain graphitized carbon material or graphene and is ideal for DIY electronic projects, This material allows for the printing of electrical flow projects & small circuits.
