EnviroLaser 3D began in 1991 as a laser printer supply company serving Ottawa and Eastern Ontario businesses. As technology evolved, we recognised the transformative potential of additive manufacturing and began offering 3D printers in 2009, becoming one of Canada's first dedicated retailers in this space.
Over three decades later, we've built our reputation by combining hands-on technical expertise with genuine customer service. What sets us apart is simple: we sell and service top brands whilst providing support through local, knowledgeable people. With over 30 years' experience providing these services, from dot matrix and laser printers through to hobby-level and commercial 3D systems, we can help you pursue the technology whilst introducing you to a vibrant Facebook community that takes the hobby and adds genuine connection.
Our physical showroom at 199 Colonnade Road South in Nepean serves as both a retail space and a community hub where hobbyists, engineers, educators, and manufacturers gather to see equipment in action, troubleshoot prints, and share techniques.
From FDM printers and engineering-grade filaments to 3D scanners and custom printing services, our product range reflects decades of additive manufacturing experience.

See 3D printers in action, feel filament samples, and speak with our technical team face-to-face. Unlike online-only retailers, we maintain a physical location where you can:
Our seven-person team isn't reading from product spec sheets. We print with these machines, troubleshoot these materials, and scan with these systems daily. That hands-on experience translates to better recommendations and genuine technical support.
Our team understands polymer properties, glass transition temperatures, moisture sensitivity, and printing parameter optimisation. Whether you're choosing between PLA and PETG for outdoor use or need nylon printing guidance, we provide answers grounded in materials science, not guesswork.
From handheld scanners to desktop EinScan systems, we guide customers through scanner selection, CAD modelling workflows, and post-processing for reverse engineering, quality inspection, and design applications. Our team handles the full pipeline from scan to finished part.
We've assembled, calibrated, and maintained dozens of FDM and resin printer models. This experience helps customers choose systems matching their skill level, available workspace, and intended applications.
We host maker meetups, maintain the active Envirolaser Enthusiasts Facebook Group, sponsor educational programmes, and participate in Canadian 3D printing forums. This keeps us connected to real-world challenges our customers face.
From laser printer supplies to additive manufacturing, our evolution mirrors the transformation of digital fabrication technology.
